Happy birthday, Jeanne' and good morning hot tub! That's right. Maria and Pete let us use their hot tub that overlooks the Rocky Mountains. As we left we saw the burrow races: people running with donkeys. Pretty neat to
see. We climbed Hoosier Pass, a 4 mile climb... AND the highest point on our route!! WAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!! When we reached the top, the
weather changed for the worse. Heavy cloud cover and freezing cold rain! We
were all a little nervous about the descent. Bummer, since it was a loooong
downhill that we couldn't really enjoy. I don't think any of us have ever been
that cold. We eventually make it to Breckenridge Brewery and Pub, get
changed and defrost a bit. Kevin's sister, Natalie came to visit and his dad
treated us to a hotel in the mountains!! Thanks, Tom!!! Most of the group went
downtown to celebrate Jeanne's birthday and Natalie's visit, and in doing so,
just about broke their necks from dancing so hard.
