The Crew

PLEASED TO MEET YOU

Kevin!
Proudly representing the only original colony not bordering the Atlantic, this curly haired fellow is quite possibly the #1 advocate for biking, openly confessing his dismay for walking. Lover of all animals, orange onesies, Sunday Fundays, Guiness, bonkerzonkerwoofwaptronkalonk-ing, climbing, asking out pretty girls named Jeanné, never having the same address for more than 8 months, Kevin is the go-to guy for almost anything.  Rumor has it he looks pretty good in a fringe jacket.

Liz!
Hailing from Leesburg, Virgina, this young whippersnapper can normally be found tearing up the dance floor in a warm jacket, peeing herself from laughter (or from getting stuck in basement doors), frying homemade chips, flossing, or being the life of the party. When told casually about the bike trip, she jumped on board immediately.... can't say the same about her bike gear prepping ;) She'll be sporting the Surly Long Haul Disc Trucker, complete with pink handlebar tape and matching water bottles.

Jeanné!
<--- I know, I know. This picture makes her look way too cool for school. Don't be deceived! She's known for be-bopping around the house in Space Jam shorts and a Backstreet Boys shirt, pinching people's elbows, staying home on Friday nights to play with Mowgli (pictured left), treating a trip to Kline's like a business transaction, staying up late to watch Hey Arnold, and searching the interwebs for new knock-knock jokes. While doing all of the above, she is still able to be one of the best friends anyone could ask for!

Eric!

Eric, a.k.a. 2nd Meal, joined the trip  straight out from serving in the Peace Corps in Costa Rica. He forged together his gear on a used road bike, wielding most importantly of all things--a machete. He will yield at nothing in order to reach the final destination. Oregon or bust! His boisterous laugh and incognito goober-ness will be sure to take us a long way.

Annie!
Her last name is Long but her hair isn't!  If she's not cooking pancakes at the Little Grill, she's  probably showing off her lasers, disturbing the neighbors with loud band practice, following her friends around with a video camera, applying too much Red Spice deodorant, wearing a zebra t-shirt, or watching Macklemore & Ryan Lewis interviews. If you want to get on her good side, all you have to do is buy her a pint of Red Velvet from Klines. After fulfilling her duties as her sister's bridesmaid, she'll join the rest of the crew.

Tom!
Along for the first week of the trip, half responsible for Kevin's existence in the world. Tougher than most papas out there, pushing barriers that didn't even know they were barriers.
